We were so excited to be one of the first to announce that The Ivy Buchanan Street will open on Monday, 29 July. Ahead of the launch, we had been working with their team to help them arrive in style.
Situated on popular Buchanan Street, the brasserie-style restaurant and bar accommodates 222 guests across two floors and feature an all-encompassing menu complete with breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, light snacks and dinner. Guests can also be able to enjoy a beautiful Private Dining Room for up to 24 guests seated and 40 for standing drinks receptions.
Our team worked through the night to ensure all the flowers were fresh for Tuesday morning.
To create the looks our team used over 800 orchids, 600 roses, 500 larkspur, 300 hydrangea and lots of other beautiful flowers and foliages including green trailing ivy, of course!
The colour palette was inspired by The Ivy Glasgow’s stained glass window design.
We used popping pinks, mustard yellows, vibrant blues and ivy greens.If you were passing The Ivy on Buchanan street at 9pm on Tuesday night you might have been one of the lucky ones to be handed a bunch of flowers that The Ivy managed to repurpose from mannequins.
